Collecting Information

You represent that you have all the necessary rights to provide such Team Member’s information to us, and in case required, applicable consents to enable us to contact such Team Member for the provision of the Service to them.
    9. Information Collected from our Business Partners :

In case you are our Business Partner who provides us with the required information of its personnel or other relevant individuals who you wish to be provided with an authorization to use the Platform and Services, you represent that you have all the necessary rights to provide such Personal Information to us, and in case required applicable consents for the provision of the Service to them.
    11. Downloading Materials:
    12. If you wish to download certain professional and promotional materials provided over our Platform ("Materials"), we may monitor and collect data concerning your usage of the Materials, such as the number of pages you have read and how long you spend reading the Materials.
    13. Information Collected via Targeted Advertisement Practices:
    14. Tabnine uses various advertising practices in cooperation with third party services and products. We use certain data about you in order to improve our advertising practices and make the ads we deliver more effective, relevant and enjoyable, including by deploying interest-based advertising, as well as targeting and ad measurement and attribution systems.

Such data includes your computer advertising identifiers (e.g. IDFA or Advertising ID), to the extent available), data related to your connected Google, Microsoft or GitHub account (if any, such as your gender, region or country), and other demographic and interests-based information that we or our partners may have received from or about you.
    16. The ads we or our partners deliver may be shown within our Platform and Website or through other channels, such as third party websites and applications. If you wish to prevent the use of your computer’s advertising ID or other identifiers for interest-based advertising, you may change your computer settings to reset such advertising ID or opt out of such advertising (typically, this is available under the "Privacy"or "Ads"section in your Device settings).
    17. Please note that if you reset your advertising ID or opt out of interest based advertising, you may still see advertisements on our Platform and Website, or on any other channels, but those ads will not be targeted based on the above mentioned identifiers.

    23. If you wish to request a demo via the Website, we will collect your full name, email address, company name, job title, and the content you submitted to provide you with a relevant demo to use our Services.

Use of Information:

We use Personal Information we collect from you for a range of different business purposes according to different legal bases of processing. We may use or process your Personal Information for the following purposes. One or more purposes may apply simultaneously.
  1. Providing the Requested Services
    • We collect Personal Information listed in Sections a-j above, to provide you with the Services you contracted to receive.
    • Such collection of information will enable us to provide you with technical and professional assistance, with regard to the Services you use or intend to use.
  2. We process the Personal Information where it is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract regarding the provision of the Platform and requested Services.
  3. Improvement and Development of the Services
    • We collect Personal Information listed under Section f to improve and develop our Platform and Services and understand feedback on Tabnine’s Services and Platform and to help provide more information on the use of the Platform and Services quickly and easily.
    • We collect Personal Information for ongoing review and improvement of the information provided on our Website and Platform to ensure it is user friendly.
    • We collect Personal Information to improve the management and administration of our business and maintain compliancy with our internal policies and procedures.
    • We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyze the information we have to evaluate and improve our Services, develop new features, and conduct audits and troubleshooting activities.
  4. We process this information in light of our legitimate interest in improving the Services, to allow our users to have the best experience.

    • This also enables us to improve your experience on the Website and Platform by providing you with personalized content, recommendations, and features.

Disclosure of Information and Transfer of Data

We reasonably attempt to ensure that we never intentionally disclose any of your Personal Information, to any third party without having received your permission, except as provided for herein and in this Privacy Policy or otherwise as permitted or required under law. The authority supervising such activities is the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, and you have the right to file a complaint to it or any other relevant supervisory authority.

Roles and Responsibilities

Please note that certain data protection laws and regulations, such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA (as defined below) typically distinguish between two main roles for parties processing Personal Information: the "Data Controller" (or under the CCPA/CPRA, "Business"), who determines the purposes and means of processing; and the "Data Processor"(or under the CCPA/CPRA, "Service Provider"), who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller (or Business). Please see the below explanation where we elaborate on how these roles apply to our Services, to the extent that such laws and regulations apply.

If you utilize the Services on your own behalf and for your own purposes, Tabnine is considered the "Data Controller"of your Personal Information and will process such Personal Information for the provision of the Website and Services to you. With respect to such Personal Information, we assume the responsibilities of the Data Controller (solely to the extent applicable under the law), as set forth in this Privacy Policy. In such instances, our service providers processing such data will assume the role of "Data Processors"

If you utilize the Services on behalf of an organization you are associated with, as such organization is considered Tabnine’s Business Partner, Tabnine is considered the "Data Processor"of your Personal Information and processes the Personal Information on behalf of its Business Partner (who is the "Data Controller"of such Personal Information). Our service providers who process such user Personal Information on our behalf are the "Sub-processors"of such Personal Information.
For the avoidance of doubt, and as mentioned above, each Business Partner is solely responsible for providing adequate notice to the its authorized Platform users whose Personal Information may be processed by Tabnine for the provision of the Services. This includes, to the extent required, sufficient reference to the processing of their Personal Information via the Platform, and any other information necessary to comply with all applicable privacy and data protection laws and obtaining all approvals and consents from individuals as required under the applicable laws.

In some jurisdictions, in particular those located within the European Union (the "EU") or within the European Economic Area (the "EEA"), you may be afforded specific rights regarding your Personal Information.
